Premium SDI Open Water Course (3 days)

Here at Dive Spear and Sport, we offer a dive course for the next generation. Learning to dive, we want you to ACTUALLY learn to dive underwater, not just learn how to survive underwater. You should leave your course buzzing to get into the water again – and why wouldn’t you? The water is an amazing ecosystem that needs to be experienced in it all its glory – under the surface! Experience the beauty of coral reefs, dive with sharks, navigate through caves or experience true history underwater on some of the world’s wrecks. No matter what you want to do, this is where your journey starts and Dive Spear and Sport will help you get there with an Open Water Course!

 Our courses are conducted with a maximum 4:1 student:instructor ratio, with a focus on quality individual and team skill-development. Pre-Requisites

1. SDI Medical Questionnaire - before signing up for this course you will need to review this form, if you answer YES to any of the questions you will need to complete a medical assessment with a qualified dive doctor. 2.  Minimum age 18 (Age 10 through to 17 may join with parental consent) 

3.  Must be able to swim 200m with no aids and tread water for 10 minutes.
