Rescue skills are essential for the ever-present possibility of having to handle divers in trouble. You’ll learn the Rescue Diver mindset and approach, which includes how to recover unconscious divers from depth and carry out an effective rescue tow to safety, conduct lost diver search patterns, and react to panicked divers on the surface and underwater. This is a highly underrated course, which teaches divers to look past their own diving and take into consideration worst-case scenarios, with appropriately planned contingency responses.

Here at Dive Spear and Sport, we minimize student numbers to 3 and “up the ante” to really simulate what happens in a rescue situation…. we recommend you don’t make any plans for the night after, because you’ll feel full of new information, a huge confidence boost as a diver…. and ready for bed!

If you can't see any dates which suit you or the dates you want are greyed out please contact us to assist you with your booking.
